ADJUSTMENT AND COMPENSATION PROFILES
The vertical profiles of the shower screen allow for adjustment, enabling it to be correctly adapted to the installation conditions, compensating for any unevenness in the walls and fitting the required opening.
Specifically, the profiling of the Akord model allows for a compensation of 2.5 cm, helping to correct any misalignments in the walls of our shower tray or bathtub. The Akord model is available in standard sizes and with ranges that allow us to adapt to the opening (see Akord model tables in the catalog). These ranges (minimum and maximum measurements) can be achieved with the extension system, either fully retracted or fully extended. For achieving ranges beyond the maximum, a larger compensation profile of +2.6 or +5 cm should be added to the order.

GLASS AND DECORATIONS
GME only works with tempered glass shower screens. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that is processed with thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared to normal glass. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into many small pieces rather than splintering into large, sharp fragments. These tiny pieces are less likely to cause injury.
This shower screen features 4 mm thick tempered safety glass.
The screen can be selected with transparent glass. Another decoration option is our adhesive vinyls (delivery time 7 days).

OPENING
The opening system uses folding panels, which fold inward toward the tray. The panels fold using a bearing system that runs along both the upper and lower rails of the frame.

SEALING
Having rails both at the top and bottom makes this one of the most watertight shower screens on the market.
