PROFILE TYPE
Profiles in polished silver aluminum. New kits are available to give the Basic bathtub screen a profile finish in white, black, titanium, gold, nickel, and copper.
ADJUSTMENT AND COMPENSATION PROFILES
The vertical profiles of the shower screen allow for adjustment, enabling it to be correctly adapted to the installation conditions, compensating for any unevenness in the walls and fitting the required opening.
Specifically, the width of the Basic model profile is 2.3 cm, which will help correct any misalignments in the walls of our shower tray or bathtub. The Basic model is available in stock in standard sizes with ranges that allow us to adapt to the opening (see Basic model tables in the catalog).
These ranges are achieved by adjusting the upper guide to the necessary measurement and by adjusting the overlap of the door on the fixed panel (1-6 cm). Therefore, during installation, it will be necessary to cut the upper guide to fit our opening, which can be done with an aluminum cutting saw.
GLASS AND DECORATIONS
GME only works with tempered glass shower screens. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that is processed with thermal or chemical treatments to increase its resistance compared to normal glass. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into many small pieces rather than splintering into large, sharp fragments. These tiny pieces are less likely to cause injury.
This shower screen features 6 mm thick tempered safety glass. Height of the screen: 150 cm.
The screen is available for immediate delivery with transparent or Frost Plus screen-printed glass.
The Basic model can be fully customized by modifying the width, height, or by cutting any of the glass panels. Delivery time will be 15 days.
ANTI-CALC TREATMENT
This shower screen comes with an anti-calc treatment as standard, which covers the micropores of the glass, preventing the accumulation of limescale and making it easier to clean the glass.
OPENING
The opening system is via sliding panels, which are equipped with double bearings that slide along the upper guide.
SLIDING PANEL RELEASE
This shower screen has a panel release system, integrated into the lower guide, allowing the doors to be freed from the lower support, making cleaning easier.
CLOSING SYSTEM
The closing system of the fixed and sliding front is via a bubble gasket, which is inserted into the sliding panel and closes into a U-shaped stainless steel vertical profile.
The closing system for angular and 2f+2c formats is via magnetic closure.
SEALING
The shower screen features vertical drip seals to guarantee sealing between the sliding panel and the fixed glass.
The shower screen does not have a guide at the bottom, so to ensure proper sealing, a drip seal should be installed at the bottom of the sliding panel and a metal drip seal should be installed on the shower tray (1 cm high and 0.6 cm wide).
