ADJUSTMENT AND COMPENSATION PROFILES The vertical profiles of the shower screen allow for adjustment and ensure proper adaptation to the construction conditions, overcoming any unevenness in the walls and fitting the necessary light gap. Specifically, the width of the profile for the Basic model is 2.3 cm, which allows us to overcome any misalignments in the walls of our shower tray or bathtub. The Basic model is in stock in pre-established standard sizes with ranges that allow us to adapt to the gap (see Basic model tables in the catalog). These ranges are achieved by adjusting the upper guide to the necessary size and with greater or lesser overlap of the door over the fixed panel (1-6 cm). Therefore, during installation, it will be necessary to cut the upper guide to fit our gap, using an aluminum cutting saw.

GLASS AND DECORATIONS GME only works with tempered glass screens. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed with thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared to normal glass. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into many small pieces instead of large jagged fragments. These small pieces are less likely to cause injury. This shower screen has 6 mm thick tempered safety glass. The screen is available for immediate delivery with transparent or frost plus serigraphed glass. The Basic screen can be custom-made, modifying the width, height, or creating cutouts in some of its glass panels. With a chrome finish, we can make it up to a special height of 220 cm. The delivery time will be 15 days.

ANTI-LIMESCALE TREATMENT This screen includes the anti-limescale treatment as standard, which covers the micropores of the glass, preventing limescale buildup and facilitating glass cleaning.

OPENING The opening system is through sliding panels, which are equipped with double bearings that slide along the upper guide.

SLIDING PANEL RELEASE This shower screen is equipped with a panel release system integrated into the lower guide, allowing the doors to be freed from the lower attachment, making cleaning easier.

CLOSING SYSTEM The closing system varies from the fixed and sliding front model to the angular opening at the vertex and angular with fixed side. The closing system for the fixed and sliding front is through bubble rubber, which is inserted into the sliding panel and closes by fitting into a vertical U-shaped stainless steel profile. The closing system for angular formats and 2f+2c is through magnetic closure.

WATERPROOFING The shower screen has vertical water seals to ensure waterproofing in the gap between the sliding panel and the fixed glass. The shower screen lacks a guide in the lower area, so to provide good waterproofing, we must install a water seal at the bottom of the sliding panel and a metal water seal on the shower tray (1 cm high and 0.6 cm wide).
