BASIC COLOR: kits for the Basic screen to be finished in white, white/chrome, black and the new titanium finish.
ADJUSTMENT AND COMPENSATION PROFILES
The vertical profiles of the shower enclosure allow the adjustment of the shower enclosure and allow us to adapt it correctly to the conditions of the work, saving the possible unevenness that may exist in the walls and adjusting to the necessary light gap.
Specifically, the width of the Basic model profiles is 2.3 cm, which will allow us to bridge any gaps that may exist in the walls of our shower tray or bathtub. The Basic model is available in stock in standard sizes already established and with ranges that allow us to adapt to the opening (see Basic model tables in the catalogue).
These ranges are achieved by adapting the upper guide to the required size and with a greater or lesser overlap of the door over the fixed panel (1-6 cm). Therefore, during installation it will be necessary to cut the upper guide to adapt it to our opening, for this purpose it will be sufficient to use a cutting saw for aluminium.
GLASS AND DECORATIONS
GME only works with tempered glass screens. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass, it is processed with thermal or chemical treatments, to increase its resistance compared to normal glass. Tempered glass, when broken, splits into a multitude of small pieces instead of splintering into large jagged shards. These tiny pieces are less likely to cause injury.
This shower enclosure has 6 mm thick tempered safety glass.
The shower enclosure is available for immediate delivery with clear or frost plus screen-printed glass. Another decoration option are our adhesive vinyls (delivery time 7 days) or the possibility of digital printing (delivery time 20 days).
The Basic screen can be made completely to measure, modifying the width, the height up to 220 cm or making cut-outs in some of the glass panes. The delivery time is 15 days.
ANTI-LIMESCALE TREATMENT
This screen includes an anti-limescale treatment as standard, which covers the micropores of the glass, preventing the accumulation of limescale and facilitating the cleaning of the glass.
OPENING
The opening system is by means of sliding panels, which are fitted with double bearings that slide along the upper guide.
SLIDING PANEL RELEASE
This shower enclosure is fitted with a leaf release system, integrated in the lower guide, which allows the doors to be left free of the lower fixing, thus facilitating cleaning.
The locking system of the fixed and sliding front is by means of bubble rubber, which is inserted into the sliding leaf and closes by inserting itself into a vertical U-shaped stainless steel profile.
The closing system of the corner formats is by means of a magnetic lock.
WATERTIGHTNESS
The shower enclosure is fitted with vertical gutter rubbers to guarantee watertightness in the gap between the sliding panel and the fixed glass.
The shower enclosure lacks a guide in the lower part of the enclosure, so to provide a good seal, we must install a rubber gutter at the bottom of the sliding panel and a metal gutter on the shower tray (1 cm high and 0.6 cm wide).
TOP GUIDE AND RANGES
The different installation ranges of the Basic model are obtained by cutting the top guide to the desired size.
STATE OF THE ART ALUMINIUM SCREENS
Shower enclosures from the Basic series, economical shower enclosures with 6 mm glass.
Basic is available in all sizes in fixed and sliding front, 2 fixed and 2 sliding front, Basic free, Basic free corner, corner opening and corner with fixed 8 mm side panel.
The Basic model is characterised by its minimalist profiles with straight lines, the absence of a bottom profile, as well as its innovative leaf release button on the guide for easy cleaning. Silent double pulley bearings in nylon. Aluminium profiles with anti-tip stopper.
Possibility of choosing between matt black or chrome white profiles, see Basic Colour section. The matt black option includes all the brackets and handles in black. The white option has the brackets and handles in chrome.
ANTI-LIMESCALE TREATMENT:
EnduroShield is a novel, invisible, non-stick, permanent protective coating for glass. ALL our shower enclosures have this treatment as standard.
