ADJUSTMENT AND COMPENSATION PROFILES
The vertical profiles of the shower enclosure allow the adjustment of the shower enclosure and allow us to adapt it correctly to the conditions of the work, saving the possible unevenness that may exist in the walls and adjusting to the necessary light gap.
Specifically, the Akord model profiles allow a 2.5 cm. compensation, which will allow us to bridge any unevenness that may exist in the walls of our shower tray or bathtub. The Akord model is available in stock in standard sizes already established and with ranges that allow us to adapt to the gap (see Akord model tables in the catalogue). These ranges (minimum and maximum measurements) will be achieved with the extension system retracted or open to the maximum. To achieve ranges greater than the maximum, we will have to add a compensation profile of +2.6 or +5cm to the order.
GLASS AND DECORATIONS
GME only works with tempered glass partitions. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass, which is processed with heat or chemical treatments, to increase its strength compared to normal glass. Tempered glass, when broken, splits into a multitude of small pieces instead of splintering into large jagged shards. These tiny pieces are less likely to cause injury.
This shower enclosure has 4mm thick tempered safety glass.
The shower enclosure is available with clear glass. Another decoration option is our adhesive vinyls (delivery time 7 days).
OPENING
The opening system is by means of folding leaves, which are folded towards the inside of the plate. The leaves are folded by means of a system of bearings that run along both the upper and lower guides of the frame.
WATERTIGHTNESS
The fact that it has both upper and lower guides makes it one of the most watertight screens on the market.
MAXIMUM LIGHT ENTRY
The Akord screen is a model with folding doors made from aluminium and 6mm of glass.
The Akord is noted for its folding opening system, which allows for a large entry space in smaller sized screens.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
To request an exchange or return, please send us the following information by fax or e-mail: model, reference and reason for the request for exchange or return. Once the return has been accepted, the invoiced material will be sent for exchange and the invoice will be paid once the material has been returned to us.
Returns that have not been analysed and authorised by GME will not be accepted.
In the event that the collection is due to an error beyond GME’s control, it will be accepted, as long as the box is intact, and an amount of 40 euros will be invoiced for the collection procedures.
