ADJUSTMENT AND COMPENSATION PROFILES
The vertical profiles of the shower enclosure allow the adjustment of the shower enclosure and allow us to adapt it correctly to the conditions of the work, saving the possible unevenness that may exist in the walls and adjusting to the necessary light gap.
Specifically, the Aktual model’s profiles allow for a 3 cm. offset, which will allow us to bridge any unevenness that may exist in the walls of our shower tray or bathtub. The Aktual model is available in stock in established standard sizes and with ranges that allow us to adapt to the opening (see Aktual model tables in the catalogue). These ranges (minimum and maximum measurements) are achieved with the extension system retracted or open to the maximum. To achieve ranges greater than the maximum, we will have to add a compensation profile of +2 or +4cm to the order.
GLASS AND DECORATIONS
GME only works with tempered glass partitions. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass, which is processed with heat or chemical treatments, to increase its strength compared to normal glass. Tempered glass, when broken, splits into a multitude of small pieces instead of splintering into large jagged shards. These tiny pieces are less likely to cause injury.
This shower enclosure has 6mm thick tempered safety glass in the sliding panels and 8mm thick tempered safety glass in the fixed panels.
The shower enclosure is available with clear or acid-etched screen-printed glass with frost plus decoration.
Another decoration option is our adhesive vinyls (delivery time 7 days).
OPENING
The opening system is by means of sliding leaves, which are fitted with bearings that slide along the upper guide. Double silent suspended pulley system, 8 wheels per door and 12 in sizes over 140 cm.
CLOSING SYSTEM
The closing system of the bathtub screen is by means of a magnetic lock, which provides great comfort and watertightness when closing the screen.
WATERTIGHTNESS
The bathtub screen is fitted with vertical gutter rubbers to guarantee watertightness in the gap between the sliding panel and the fixed glass.
The screen lacks profiles in the lower part of the screen, so to provide a good seal, we must install a rubber gutter at the bottom of the sliding panel and a metal gutter on the shower tray (0.8 cm. high and 1.2 cm. wide).
WITHOUT LOWER FRAMEWORK

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
To request an exchange or return, please send us by fax or e-mail the following information: model, reference and reason for the request for exchange or return. Once the return has been accepted, the invoiced material will be sent for exchange and the invoice will be paid once the material has been returned to us.
Returns that have not been analysed and authorised by GME will not be accepted.
In the event that the collection is due to an error beyond GME’s control, it will be accepted, as long as the box is intact, and an amount of 40 euros will be invoiced for the collection procedures.
